Amy and Evan first met when they were kids. They swam on the same swim team, and as they grew up together, they also fell in love! On their wedding day, family members told stories of how their love grew and changed right along with them, and the history behind their story is special in a way that happens when high school sweethearts end up getting married. (It’s so very sweet!) I loved being there to watch their incredible wedding unfold. It was such an amazing day!
Amy and Evan decided to bring family and friends into Charlottesville for a wedding at King Family Vineyards. Family is very important to both of them, and the vineyard is close enough to a church that is very special to Amy’s family. (Her grandfather was one of the original founders!) The weather, the view, and the love between these two was just incredible. I loved being there to capture everything!
Two years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Amy’s sister’s gorgeous wedding. I fell in love with their whole family, so being with them again on such a special day was a true gift!
I’m so thankful to have had Misty Rodda with me! She captured the guys getting ready and so many amazing photos throughout the day!
The view at King Family Vineyards? It had me at hello.
The light was so amazing! I could have photographed these two ALL DAY LONG.
Amore Events by Cody was responsible for all the flowers, decor, and coordination. Cody does it all, and the details came together so beautifully!
Amy was such a stunning bride!
