Meggie and Kale attended the Naval Academy at the same time, but they actually didn’t meet until they were both serving in the Navy. After meeting him, Meggie knew that she wanted to get to know Kale. But dating isn’t encouraged while serving in the Navy, so she decided to invite Kale to church! (I loved hearing the priest relay this part of their story during the ceremony. It was so sweet!) Eventually, the two did start dating, and the rest is history.
Meggie and Kale are both so kind and thoughtful, and I loved being there to capture their wedding day! The two were married over Memorial Day weekend and hald their reception at The Army Navy Country Club. It was such an incredible celebration. Friends and family gathered from all over the country (and world!) to celebrate the love of these two, and it was truly an honor to be there capturing everything.
Meggie and her bridesmaids started their day at The Melrose Hotel, and the light was just gorgeous! I could feel the excitement and anticipation as soon as I arrived.
Meggie, you are GORGEOUS!
I loved all of Meggie’s bridesmaids! They were such a sweet group of friends.
Megan captured so many gorgeous photos throughout the day, including this photo that I just adore of Meggie and her dad before they walk down the aisle.
The weather was just perfect as we headed over to the Army Navy Country Club.
Meggie and Kale: Congratulations! You both are so sweet and I know that together you will continue to do amazing things!
