I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple to kick off the 2021 Wedding season. After rescheduling their wedding twice, Lesley and John were married earlier this month with a beautiful and intimate ceremony at the Cathedral of St. Matthew. These two opted to save the party for next fall (it’s going to be amazing!), but they invited their dearest family and friends– basically their wedding party and immediate families– to join them as they exchanged vows and became husband and wife. After the ceremony, the wedding party headed to the Lincoln Memorial for some sweet portraits with the bride and groom. It was such an amazing day. I loved being there to capture the love and joy that surrounded these two on their wedding day, and I can’t WAIT for them to continue the celebration next fall!
Lesley, you are gorgeous!
John was looking pretty handsome too.
One of the loveliest churches in DC.
Married!
Can’t you just feel their joy?!
The wedding party was very serious about wearing their masks and staying socially distanced at all times unless they were being photographed. But they took quick breaks so that I could photograph each group and this last photo of everyone– I’m getting some serious “Friends” vibes from this photo!
Lesley and John– Congratulations! You two were a dream to photograph. It was worth the wait!!
