At the end of September, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Gina and Mike’s wedding celebration in DC. The couple was married at the Dahlgren Chapel on Georgetown’s campus, and the had a beautiful reception at the Carnegie Institute for Science. I had such a wonderful time photographing the event!
I’ve loved getting to know Gina and Mike. They’re both so sweet, and when they described their wedding day during our engagement shoot earlier this year, I knew it was going to be lovely. Gina worked so hard to incorporate the most beautiful details! Their venue was just gorgeous, and I loved capturing the reception for this event because everyone was having such a blast. It was the perfect way to end their wedding day.
When I met Gina early in the day, her Alfredo Angelo wedding dress and Jimmy Choo’s made me so happy! (Gina actually made some special alterations to her wedding dress, so it was truly an original.)
This is one of my favorites. Gina, you’re so gorgeous!
I can’t handle how gorgeous Gina’s dress looks in this photo…
Gina surprised Mike with a groom’s cake that looked like a huge Reese’s cup. It was awesome! It also (literally) set off the fire alarm!
Gina and Mike: I can’t thank you enough for inviting me to be a part of your day! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
