maureen + matt | thomas birkby house

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing Maureen and Matt’s garden party wedding at The Thomas Birkby House.  What a beautiful celebration!  I’ve really loved getting to know these two, and capturing them together on their wedding day was just delightful.  If there is one thing that strikes me most about Maureen and Matt’s relationship it’s that they just love to laugh together.  Taking their portraits was so much fun!  And in between all the laughter, they had the most tender moments.  It was just beautiful.

Maureen adorned her wedding shoes with her grandmother’s earrings.  Such a beautiful touch!

Maureen attached a photo of her other grandmother onto her beautiful bouquet.  I loved her attention to detail!

The beautiful bride.

The handsome groom.

Last Saturday was pretty hot, and they were calling for a chance of rain all day.  Amazingly, Maureen and Matt’s ceremony took place right when things started to cool off but before the rain actually hit.  It was perfect!

Maureen and Matt: I can’t thank you enough for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day.   I wish you both the best!
