Meet Noah. He’s two-years-old, full of energy, and absolutely hilarious. He’s also incredibly strong. A few months ago, his parents (Kisha and Aaron) were shocked when Noah began to have seizures, and after a few tests, they found out news that no parent wants to hear… Noah has a tumor on the base of his brain. Right now, it looks like the tumor is benign, but Noah is not out of the woods and will definitely need regular scans and check-ups to make sure that the tumor isn’t growing abnormally. As a parent, I can’t imagine what this news must have been like for Kisha and Aaron. I am so impressed with their positive energy. And it has definitely rubbed off on Noah!
Kisha and I actually went to high school together, and when I found out that they were going to be home for Easter, I couldn’t wait to set up a session with their family. I was so looking forward to meeting Noah, and he lived up to my expectations! He’s just full of life. His laughter is contagious. And he’s obviously so in love with his parents. (He’s also 100% BOY, and he gave me a crash course in what I should expect in the next year or so!) The morning was pretty cold and damp, but we had to make it work before they headed back to West Virginia. Once Noah warmed up, we had a blast!
I love Noah’s face in this one. I think he’s saying, “Why am I out here in the cold?! You people are crazy.”
We had a solution for the cold… Noah was much happier after putting his Diego sweatshirt on!
We ended our session with some good puddle jumping. Noah was thrilled!
Kisha and Aaron: I’m so glad that I was able to spend time with you guys. Noah is a true delight, and I’m definitely keeping your family in my prayers!
