Brittney and Justin grew up just miles from one another. They went to different schools and traveled in different circles, but they knew of one another in a way that is possible when you grow up in a small town. They were even “friends” online, and when Justin wished Brittney a happy birthday a few years ago on Facebook, she noticed that he too had moved to the DC area from their home town in Pennsylvania. (She also noticed that he was pretty cute!) So she responded to his message… and the two went on their first date just a few days later!
I absolutely loved getting to know these two and sharing in the joy of their wedding day. They were both so warm and welcoming, and the love they feel for one another came through in every photograph. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, and the Inn at Poplar Springs provided the most incredible backdrop…
The tree lined path at Poplar Springs was the perfect spot for Brittney and Justin’s first look. I could have photographed these two ALL DAY LONG.
Brittney, you are gorgeous!
Justin, you were looking pretty handsome too!
Brittney and Justin decided early on that they wanted a small, intimate wedding. They were surrounded by eight of their closest family members, including their two adorable nieces.
After their ceremony, we decided to explore the property for just a few more photos before dinner. The light was just perfect that evening!
Poplar Springs provided their back patio to host Brittney and Justin’s dinner. It was such a gorgeous evening…
Brittney and Justin: Thank you so much for inviting me to capture your amazing day and for reminding me what makes a wedding truly special… the love between two people. I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
